How a lounge works

  • HostStart a lounge in seconds: give it a title, pick a mood, and choose who can join: anyone, your contacts, or only people you invite.
  • Speakers on stageInvite people up to speak. Listeners raise a hand to ask.
  • ListenersListen in, react, and chat along without saying a word.

Questions

What is a lounge?

A live audio room. A host starts it, speakers talk on stage, and everyone else listens, reacts and chats.

Who can see that I’m in a lounge?

You decide, in Lounge activity: your contacts, your contacts except some people, or nobody. You can also show it only when you host or speak.

Are lounges private?

Lounges are shared with everyone in them, so they aren’t end-to-end encrypted like chats. Only people the host allows can join: anyone, the host’s contacts, or people they invite.

Can I just listen?

Yes. You join as a listener and can raise your hand if you want to speak.
